The Brain Reset of a Long Walk

My thoughts, a tangled, buzzing swarm,
Far from the calm, far from the warm.
So I lace up, and close the door,
Not knowing what I'm walking for.
But step by step, a rhythm starts,
Connecting all my scattered parts.
The buzz recedes, the knots untie,
Beneath the vast and open sky.
Far from the calm, far from the warm.
So I lace up, and close the door,
Not knowing what I'm walking for.
But step by step, a rhythm starts,
Connecting all my scattered parts.
The buzz recedes, the knots untie,
Beneath the vast and open sky.
